These paintings are part of an ongoing contemplation of contemporary norms surrounding the celebration of special occasions. Specifically, I am interested in how we engage with consumer culture, produce waste, and carry on traditions while commemorating milestone events. 
All oil studies were completed "alla prima" in my Upper West Side Studio, January 2025.
